That your words sounded like lies
When you said the finding love
Would come just as the sun does rise
When you said that she was out there
And you said just not to look
Because surely I would find her
If I stopped searching every nook

I’m sorry that I told you
It worked for you but not for me
When you said we all have someone
With whom to spend eternity

You said it is what I deserved
Because God is in his heavens
But still I was reserved

So thanks my friend for telling me
The truths I wouldn’t hear

Seem empty to me here

What could she have even thought?

All of her dreams it seemed she would lose

I really don't know.

I legally wasn't there.

What must have run through his mind?

I only can guess,

My Last Column I thought about writing this column for a long time.

Professors have a theory called the "last lecture." In short, the theory is a question. If you knew that the next lecture you gave would be your last, what would you say?

This is my last column as a college student.

Most of you reading this don't know it but for two years, I was the written "voice" of SSU sports, news editor and editor in training for the Chronicle before the current editor added be to the staff box in the emeritus position of National Affairs Desk chief.

Hello DA I'm back. I am looking to work with artists of any kind to provide brief poems to accompany photos. My sister Kayceeronin and I have done this with some success.

The idea is that the poem appear somewhere on the photo but It can be above below or whatever. I can come up with my own idea based on the art/photo or you can tell me what you want.

I'm looking to do this free breifly but the idea is to get some money out of this talent...being a poor college student anything helps.
